FS WORD OF POWER – A STRONG TOWER – 03/04/20

“A Strong TOWER”

We just recently came back from a visit to the Holy Land: Israel. While visiting Jerusalem we had the chance to take a closer look at the remains of the tower of King David, situated close to Jaffa Gate. As we approached the site a word from the book of Proverbs came to mind: “Chapter18 verse 10: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run into it and are safe.” Let’s take a closer look into this verse in order to unlock the pure power contained in it.

The fact that His name alone is a strong tower tells us that all we need to do is run to Him in times of trouble. But is running to the Lord the equivalent of running from our enemy? I think not. We are told that God is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), our hiding place (Psalm 32:7), and a shelter in the time of storm (Isaiah 25:4); and while Scripture nowhere tells us to run from the Enemy — where else ought we to be, but with the LORD?

Let´s compare the above word with the Amplified Version Classic Edition’s in regards to this powerful verse: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.” This is the proper Christian posture for the child of God. Go to Him and be encouraged; He has you covered. You are safe!

However, in the spiritual world, the Lord tells us we can run to Him and stand strong behind the power of His name. How do we do this? How do we run to the protection of our Lord when we need it? If we look closely, the action verb here is “run.” This means that we take action when we need protection. In other words, we must run to it to find safety. This may be as simple as calling on His name with prayer when we need His protection. As simple as it sounds, so often it is easy to forget where to run to when we are in need. If you are in need today and find yourself in a difficult situation – try to RUN to the tower of his name. Use the name of the Lord in spiritual warfare and tell the enemy to go! In Song of Solomon 4: 4 we read: “Your neck is like the tower of David, built with courses of stone; on it hang a thousand shields, all of them shields of warriors.”

Watchtowers or fortified posts in frontier or exposed situations are mentioned in Scripture, in several places ( Genesis 35:21 ; Isaiah 21:5 Isaiah 21:8 Isaiah 21:11 ; Micah 4:8 ) and their purpose was to offer protection but were also used as watch-outs in order to spot enemy forces. Now the name of the Lord is our strong tower only when we actually are using it as a defense. Remember to run to it and use it – there is POWER in the name of Yeshua- because of what he accomplished on the cross.

As we passed Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem- and approached Golgotha, the place where Yeshua gave his life on a wooden cross- I could almost hear the crowds shout: “crucify him!” but then I was reminded that while He gave His life for us. HIS NAME is our refuge or as He said to His disciples in Philippians 2:9-11: “Therefore God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, those on earth and those under the earth and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father.” Hallelujah! <3

AUTHORITY – TERRY THOMPSON

AUTHORITY

By Pastor Terry Thompson

I want you to just close your eyes for a brief moment and let your mind’s eye look back into your school days. Now, let me ask you a question, which teacher did you learn from the most? I know in my case it was Miss Ward.  She was a great motivator and showed so much enthusiasm and joy.  Everyone in the class wanted to hear what she had to say. Some teachers have that gift.  This is just what I want to draw your attention to with Jesus’s teaching. In the first book of Mark, we see in verse 17 Jesus enlisted Simon and Andrew.  Then in verse 20 He saw James and John, the sons of Zebedee, and called them to follow Him and they followed. The next day they were in Capernaum and it was the Sabbath day. They went into the synagogue (church) and Jesus taught.  I would have loved to of seen the expressions on the faces of the four new disciples as Jesus taught in the synagogue. Let us just look at verse 22.

Mark 1:22 – “And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

THE AUTHORITY OF CHRIST

When Mark wrote his gospel, he showed the difference between a good teacher and a bad teacher.  It is quite obvious that the people thought the scribes were quite dry in their application, yet they said Jesus spoke with such authority.

Mark 1:23-27

23 – And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

24 – Saying, let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

25 – And Jesus rebuked him, saying, hold thy peace, and come out of him.

26 – And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

27 – And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, what thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

The authority Jesus showed created motivation and when motivation was  stirred activation was manifested.

Dictionary

AUTHORITY

 /əˈTHôrədē/

noun

The power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.

Matthew 7:29

29 – For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”

The chief priests and the elders were always challenging Jesus’s authority.

Matthew 21:23

23 – And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, by what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?”

Do you remember how the dictionary expressed what ‘AUTHORITY’ was?  ‘the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.’

The dictionary breaks up the word into two categories.

  1. The power.
  2. The right.

Jesus exercised spiritual power. The chief priests and the elders exercised religious rights. Both had authority, the spiritual enables people to do and religion forbids people to do.    The authority Jesus showed created motivation among the people, when people are motivated it stirs them into activation and miracles manifest.

The authority Jesus gave to His disciples was a power that sets people free and motivates them into service.

MAN LIKES TO MONOPOLIZE

John told Jesus that he forbid someone using his name to cast out devil’s because he did not belong to their group. Jesus responded by saying, “Forbid him not.”  When we try to monopolize the work of God, we take away it’s natural ability to ignite an area like a bushfire. On the day of Pentecost, the 120 believers saw 3000 saved in just one day.

Luke 9:49-50

49 – And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

50 – And Jesus said unto him, forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.”

We need to remember that God gave us the power to set the captives free.  Jesus said,

Luke 4:18

18 – The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach  the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach  deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at  liberty them that are bruised,

19 – To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

THE SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

The Holy Spirit is the activator of our authority and when we yield to His leading, we become a force to be reckoned with. When we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, we have been given access to activate the accessories that He gives to us.

The Bible calls them gifts in 1 Corinthians 12.8-10.

CONCLUSION

The word AUTHORITY describes an action, to bind or loose. Jesus gave this ability to His disciples one day when He was asking them who do you say that I am.

Matthew 18:18

18 – Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

The source of our Authority is based in Christ! And manifestation comes through the Holy Spirit.  When we align ourselves with the new commandment Christ gave us in John 13 we implement our authority with the attitude of love.

John 13:34-35

34 – A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

35 – By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

Love Y’all!

DARKNESS AND LIGHT – TERRY THOMPSON

DARKNESS AND LIGHT

Terry Thompson

I was going through a note pad just the other day from August 2008, and I found something the Lord revealed to me about darkness and light.  As I was reading, I was compelled to share it publicly.  This is what was written:

Out of darkness came forth creation.  Out of light came forth revelation.”

DARKNESS = CREATION

LIGHT = REVELATION

Before I go any further with this article, I want to reveal to you that all

darkness is not evil. In the book of Genesis, we read that darkness was upon the face of the deep. While it was still dark, God spoke forth light into existence on the first day. Then on the fourth day, He spoke, the sun, and the moon into existence.

GENESIS 1: 1- 5

1 – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 – And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 – And God said, let there be light: and there was light.

4 – And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 – And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God used this format of creating in the dark and revealing in the light several times in the scriptures.

ADAM & EVE

When God made Eve, he placed Adam in a deep sleep. While Adam was in the dark God made a partner for him. Adam had named all the animals God had made.  When he saw his partner, he recognized she was part of him and named her woman. How did he know? He got a revelation.

Genesis 2:21-23

21 – And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 – And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 – And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

ABRAMS COVENANT

Abram had a dark and light experience in his lifetime. Do you remember the time when Abram rescues Lot recorded in Genesis 14?  Abram never took a penny for himself from the money that was recovered. In chapter 15 it says;

Genesis 15:1

1 – The word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Abram had just won a battle and God said, fear not. Why?  When you read the text more closely, you get to see how Abram is concerned about an heir. Abram literally has a dialogue with God about this subject. In Genesis 12 the Lord took Abram out of Ur of the Chaldees and gave him a promise.

GENESIS 12:2-3

2 – And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 – And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

This was the thing that Abram was concerned about, he still did not have an offspring and he reminded God of his promise. But God asked him to go a step deeper into a relationship with him by cutting a covenant. Covenants demand commitment and trust. He had to pay a sacrifice; a horror of great darkness fell upon Abram.

GENESIS 15:12

12 – And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.”

When Abram was in this trance-like state God revealed 400 years of captivity of the children of Israel.

PETER’S TRANCE

Peter fell into a trance on top of Simon’s house, where the Lord showed Peter a series of pictorial instructions.

Acts 10:9b-10

9b – Peter, went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

10 – And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,”

The Lord had to change Peter’s understanding of the Gentiles. It was absolutely forbidden for Gentiles to eat with the Jews.

Acts 11:3

3 – Saying, thou wentest into men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

Yet after Peter’s trance he and six other Jewish men accompanied the three men back to Cornelius’s house (Acts 11:12). Peter reveals the plan of salvation and the household was baptized in the Holy Ghost. (Acts 11:15-17.)

CONCLUSION

Each one of these characters came to the threshold of change in their lives.

God took them into the dark and it changed them. Then He enlightened them (revelation).

FS WEDNESDAY’S WORD OF POWER – “WHY ME” – 12/11/19

FS Word of Power

December 11, 2019

Eva Windahl

“WHY ME?”

Some of you reading this have been through a lot! Some of you are wondering, “will this ever end?” and some of you have endured what others even couldn’t imagine. Eventually everybody suffers sooner or later because life is not fair and there is a great deal of suffering.

Today, I hear the Lord say: I have seen your tears and heard your cry, I have not abandoned you! I am here – now come and let me comfort you. Let me speak gently to your heart and know that after you have endured- you will share my GLORY! (Romans 8:17)

No one likes suffering, but you see we read in Romans 8 that we are called to share his suffering- whose? Yeshua! We read in Isaiah 53:3 – “He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

As co-heirs of Christ we will encounter suffering in this life- but may I encourage you today? You see suffering will come to an end and his GLORY will be so glorious that I don´t think we will even remember all we suffered here on earth.

Apostle Paul even declares it is necessary to suffer. Did I say suffering is necessary? Yes. But it’s necessary for a specific purpose. You don’t need to suffer to be born again or to have eternal life. Not at all. But you do need to suffer for a different goal: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us (Rom 8:18). All believers are heirs of God. But notice, not all believers are joint heirs with Christ. That’s a special heirship—a conditional one. It depends on whether you have suffered with Christ. That doesn’t include self-inflicted suffering (e.g., getting arrested for robbery, or getting fired for laziness). It means suffering for Christ, for the testimony of the gospel.  If you want to reign with Christ, you must suffer with Him. Suffering is necessary for that. Of course, it might not be your will. Suffering for Christ is hard. It can mean a great many things—from mild ridicule at work to witnessing the martyrdom of your children. That temporal suffering might not seem worth it. You might wonder- “Isn’t simply being saved enough? What more could I want?” Paul assures us that suffering will be worth it.

Let me end with this word from the book of Revelation 21:4

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Have faith!

FS WORD OF POWER: “HIS NAME SHALL BE…” – 12/04/19

FS Word of Power

December 4, 2019

Eva Windahl

“His name shall be…”

We just lit the first candle of advent entering a time of great anticipation, WAITING, for Christmas to arrive. Today let us open our hearts and listen to the prophet Isaiah foretelling the birth of the son of God, Yeshua, destined to be born in a manger in Bethlehem. During this time of advent (waiting for the arrival of the Messiah) I believe God wants to remind us of who we are actually waiting for and reveal to us some things about His name.

What´s in a name? Well in our days, names do not hold much significance but in Old Testament times, a name stood for a person’s “reputation, their fame and their glory.”  Parents often gave children names that described the parent’s hopes and future expectations regarding that child. People were given the names they were given for a reason. For example: David means “Beloved.”  Abraham means “Father of a multitude.”  Jacob means “Trickster.”  Goliath means “Splendor.”  All of these people proved true to their names!

In the Old Testament God often revealed Himself through his name sharing His true identity, letting us know WHO he really is: the great I AM, Lord of hosts, Jehovah Shalom; So announcing the upcoming birth of Yeshua some 700 hundred years before an angel visits Mary, He does the same thing: proclaiming who His Son will be!  Isaiah 9:6 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

WONDERFUL COUNSELOR –– Literally He is “wonder of a counselor.” He gives comfort and strength throughout time and eternity. The Messiah is Himself a “Wonder.” The word refers to what God has done, not man. He is God Himself. This Child is a Wonder. He will rule with unfailing depth of Wisdom. He will not need counselors or a cabinet; He is Himself Counselor.

MIGHTY GOD – He is El gibor (Hebrew)- the strong one.  A great God, powerful, living, true God, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.

ETERNAL FATHER – He is an everlastingly Father. He is loving, paternal, concerned, tender, faithful, wise, guardian, provider and protector. Psalm103:13 “Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.”

The Apostle Paul admonishes us in Romans 8:15 with these words: “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” Here is a father worthy of the name who will never leave you or forsake you.

PRINCE OF PEACE – He rules over His people with peace. The peace He gives is eternal. He is the embodiment of peace; therefore, He rules over His redeemed people as a Prince bringing peace. He gives us his indescribable peace the very moment we put our trust in Him.

  • When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you have a Wonderful Counselor.
  • When you believe in Jesus Christ, you are trusting in the Mighty God. Do you feel helpless in a confused and angry world? Are you carrying a heavy burden which is too heavy for you alone to carry? The Mighty God is your strength. There is nothing, which He cannot carry out. He is able to save all who trust in Him.
  • When you believe in Jesus Christ, you have an Eternal Father. You have one who always loves, is concerned, and committed to what is best for you. One Father will never leave you or forsake you. He gives us eternal security.
  • When you trust in Jesus Christ, you have the Prince of Peace as your ruler. Is there a storm brewing in your heart? Are you anxious and restless? He is the only one who can give you deep inner peace. Need a shepherd for stormy days? Let Him be your Prince.

What´s in a name?

Everything you need for CHRISTMAS!

Bless you

THE ANOINTING & MANTLES – PART 2 – YOUR PURPOSE

Part Two – Your Purpose

A lot of people are struggling to find their purpose in this life. Is it supposed to be this hard to understand what we were created for and to do? I don’t think there is any question, which cannot be answered, if we will search the Bible, for it is our manual and it contains all the answers.

Why were we created?

Isaiah 43:7  “Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”

Isaiah 43:21  “The people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.”

Psalm 150:1-6 Praise the Lord! “Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! …”

Psalm 100:1-5 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

In looking at 1 Corinthians 20 in the World English Bible says:  “for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.  I also liked the Messenger Bible rendition: “Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for?  So, let people see God in and through your body.”

Those of us who have come to Christ, through the Power/Grace of Yahweh, were given the most expensive gift we will ever receive and it cost Yahweh the life of His Son Yahshua/Jesus. No doubt we are grateful, or should be, in the light of what Jesus did for us on the cross and you would think we would respond to His sacrifice by making our lives count in more ways than just “squandering,” wasting it away on materialistic things.  Materialistic things meaning:  Excessively being concerned with physical comforts or the acquisition of wealth and material possessions, rather than with spiritual, intellectual, or cultural values.

One of our past Presidents, “Ronald Reagan,” who survived an assassination attempt said, “I have a new sense that I was spared for a purpose and that all my time belonged to God after that.” Would you say this was a spiritual wake up call for President Reagan? Maybe we all really need a spiritual wakeup call to re-evaluate what Jesus did for us on the cross. Just like President Reagan, we were spared for special reasons too.

Throughout the scriptures, it reveals we were created to praise, worship and thank our Father Yahweh, the One who created everything, but notice, He especially created us for a purpose, He redeemed us for a purpose and most of all, He wants us to fulfill that purpose. 1 Peter 4:10 NIV says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”   In the NLT:  “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”

We were all given spiritual gifts, abilities, education and relationships for a reason – to help other people and to spread the “Good News” about Jesus.  How many people do you know, who “don’t” understand we can be saved and given “eternal life” in the hereafter, through Christ?  Have you tried to tell them?

Remember in 1 Corinthians 6:20 Yahweh bought us with a high price, the blood of His Son Yahshua. And if we look at Ephesians 2:10 we read:  “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  We are created to use the gifts/talents He has given us for good works to help others and tell the world about the Son of God, Christ the Messiah. Faith without works is dead. (James 2)

No doubt, another part of the purpose you are looking for, is tied in with the gift of prophecy, you have received.  Is it important for you to prophesy? What is prophecy about?  It’s about being available and faithful to bring forth what Yahweh wants to say to His People and the World.  Many of God’s greatest servants were prophets, including Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Prophecy who resides in us.

Almost a third of the bible is prophecy, especially Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel and even Genesis, Psalms and Paul’s epistles contain important prophecies. What do all these prophecies and prophets reveal? The Greatness and Power of Yahweh and the prophetic declarations of what He is going to do in the future, long before it comes to pass.  Look at Isaiah 42:

“This is what God the Lord says—the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: ‘… I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you’ ”

Our ability to prophesy exposes the FACT Yahweh, not only exists and confirms the Bible, but He also demonstrates the prophetic through His declaring and prophesying, what is to come. Remember we were created in His “image.” We were born to prophesy.

Yahweh prophesies to us, in Isaiah 46:9 and reveals His Oneness, Power and Authority, through a prophetic word revealing the past and the future. “Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.”  He ends this statement saying, “My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please”

Yahweh’s Words were just as important in the ancient time as they are today. He continues to reach out through the prophetic ministry to warn His People to turn from evil, just like He did through Ezekiel.“Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’” (Ezekiel 33:11).

The words you and I hear from Him today continue to be given to us in order to disciple and teach His People about the “Truth” of Jesus Christ and warn them against the evil, which continues in our nations. He has always wanted to talk to His People, His Family.

Did you know the words you prophetically speak and write today have a timeless ability? Prophets of old spoke words about Yahweh, which were important at that time for God’s people, but look how critical they are even today, in teaching and guiding us how to live and get ready for the return of Yahshua and His coming Kingdom. All the prophesies in the Bible are still relevant to all of us now, matter of fact, it seems in our world today, we are going down the same path the early church believers followed in the New Testament. Think they were perfect? Take a close look at the Book of Revelation, chapters 3 and 4.

There were seven churches Jesus commanded John to send letters containing His Words. Five of them already had seeds of disbelief and Jesus revealed, they were involved with everything from immorality to evil practices of Satan himself.  Think about it, these five churches were established during the time of the Apostles and only a short generation from the time when Jesus was alive, but only one church was given praise without any mention of faults, the Philadelphian.

What are we seeing today?  Churches condoning and comprising the righteous commands of Jesus, to make everyone “feel” good in His Father’s House, sacrifices of babies through abortion, money and position worshiped on the highest levels, anger, hatred, deceit, murder and idolatry as statues of false gods on standing on American soil and being revered. I think we should be getting a letter from Jesus soon. I wonder, “Who will read it”, or better said, “Who will speak it?”

What can turn the hearts of the people back to Yahweh?

The Ministry of the Prophets.

It was the Prophet John, who received the Word/Vision from Jesus and sent the letters to the churches. Selah, A Prophet carried the Words of Jesus to the churches. Did you get that?

2020/5780 – The Year of the Mouth – The Year of the Prophet

We are seeing the upcoming decade 5780-5789, being represented as, the “Decade for Declaration.” The Hebrew letter for “80” is פ – pronounced peh. Besides being the 18th letter of the alphabet, peh is also the Hebrew word for mouth! So in just over a month, we will move from our previous decade, which drew attention to the eye (seer), into ten years of awakening an awareness of the mouth.

Do you see it? Do you feel it? This is the time when Yahweh is raising up a prophetic generation to fill in all the gaps, through the Spirit of prophecy, the Gift of prophecy and The Prophets. Oh can you sense the ground shaking under your feet, as an army begins to be awakened to know who they are in Christ and to move into their places on the walls, in the hiways, the byways, the prayer closets and the churches. Hallelujah!

It shall be a special time and a dangerous time, for words released shall contain power to build and to destroy. Are you listening? What you release will have the power of life and death. Yahweh is moving across, not just our Nation, but the world. Many will come from the north, south, east and west to share their opinions, but you must hold your tongue, behind it’s gates, until you hear your Shepherd’s Words, for He shall move through you and I to save His People. How do I know that?

Because, if Yahweh had not raised up a prophet, at crucial moments in the past, when His People were moving away from Him into sin and evil, no one would be left to follow Him here today and likewise, if He does not raise up a prophetic generation today, His Church Army, to release His Words of Truth, Power and Life, will anyone of be left tomorrow to follow and worship Him? Come Lord, Yahshua Ha Mashiach!

It is said history repeats itself and if you look back into the book of Judges, you will see where time after time the children of Israel did evil again and again, in the sight of the Lord. Can you see this happening in our Nation today?  I can see it and I can feel it.

Judges 2:11-13 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim:  And they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the Lord to anger. And they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.

Every major section within Judges begins with a statement, “The children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD,” however as you read on, there is good news, for invariably it ends, with the rise of a great leader, or “judge,” sent by the Lord to turn the people back to Him in faith. The purpose of the prophets God raised up back then and for NOW, was and is, for the preservation of His People. How do I know that? Because, it is written in the Scriptures.

And

Hosea 12:10

I have also spoken by the prophets,

And I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

In 1 Peter 2:9-10 Paul  also clearly states the purpose of who we are as the Body of Christ. ” But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

It is hard to understand we are a new race, a special people, never before been on this earth, because we are Born Again into Christ and have His Spirit of Prophecy in us, but We ARE and We DO!!!! Plus, Yahweh shares our purpose as a prophetic people as well, in Exodus 19:5-6:

“Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

Today, know who you are, go forth to release the Words of the Father to His son’s and daughters. The Bible prophesies God’s plan, a plan where He will bring us to salvation and eternal life into His Family when we surrender our lives to Him. Yahweh’s prophetic words to us in 2 Corinthians 6:18 proclaim:  “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. We cannot disregard this Scripture, for Yahweh literally gives us His promise to fulfill it and there is more.

“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:2-3). God’s promise is that, as His divine children, we will be like the glorified Jesus Christ!

Yahweh is prophesying what He already sees in the future. It is up to us to align with Him and understand who we truly are in His eyes. Revelation 20:6:  “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

Can you receive this? It is your destiny and your purpose in Him. God’s plan for us is to serve Him as priests and to reign with Jesus Christ when He establishes the Kingdom of God on earth! Until He returns, we keep our eyes and ears open and release His Words to the Body of Christ and one more thing. Numbers 11:29………………

“WHERE Does Our Help Come From?” – Eva Windahl – 11/27/19

WHERE Does Our Help Come From?”

November 27, 2019

Eva Windahl

We have all been there.  SUDDENLY we are faced with the unthinkable.  We are thrown into a fiery storm of suffering or we find ourselves facing a gigantic problem. The question is what we do with it and from WHERE we expect to get help.  With this in mind and heart, I heard the Lord say: “Let My people CALL OUT TO ME! Remind them that I am the Lord who has made heaven and earth. I am still in control! I am not unaware of whatever you are facing but know this: I am sending help this very moment! Help is on its way to you, in My time and according to My will.” WHERE does our help come from? Let us have a closer look at Psalm 121:

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;

8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

FIRST, we have to LOOK UP to God because He loves us and can do the impossible! The sole source of ‘help’ comes from Yahweh, who, as Creator, has unlimited power.

SECONDLY, we should remind ourselves that God is always active, always accessible.  He never sleeps, He is always omnipresent. Therefore, we can feel safe knowing that whatever we are confronted with He already knows about it and is in control.

THIRDLY, as a good shepherd, Yeshua watches over His flock. His eyes and heart follow the sheep wherever they go, and he protects them from the attacks of the enemy. He watches out for you and your loved ones. And even though we sometimes walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.” (Psalm 23)

Finally, WHERE does our help come from? – My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth and with that in mind we are not alone.  We have God on our side.

Blessings

CONCERNING LEVELS IN THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY – BONNIE NELSON -11/22/19

Levels of the Prophetic Ministry

In a recent Bible Study, questions came forth, regarding prophecy and the Prophetic Office. In order to bring clarity to the different levels in the Prophetic, here is some information for you to consider, regarding your gifting and where you might be called in the Prophetic. Are you ready? Good! Here we go. We are told in Scripture all of us are to covet the gift of prophecy and prophecy is given to edify, exhort and bring comfort to the Saints (The Church). Look at 1 Corinthians 14:1-5; 31

Follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

This is also confirmed in Ephesians 4:11-12  “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”

Notice the word says we are to prophesy so the church may learn and be comforted

Jesus set forth those in the church to be leaders in order for the saints to be taught about Him and the Ways of His Kingdom. So, in order to get a good understanding of prophecy, we need to look at the areas or levels of the prophetic ministry and understand, not everyone who prophesies is a Prophet.

1)     Prophecy of the Scripture is also called word prophecy. Prophecy of the scripture is the Scripture. Scripture is the Bible. This is the prophecy spoken of by the Apostle Peter in 2 Peter 1:20-21: “Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

When Peter says, ‘no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation’ this applies only to prophecy of the scripture. The Bible is prophetic from Genesis to Revelation. This is what is meant by prophecy of the scripture.

2)     The Prophetic Presbytery for laying on of hands and prophecy for ordination is in 1 Timothy 4:14:  “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.”

3)     The Spirit of Prophecy – Jesus’ testifying to others through prophetic speaking in Revelation 19:10:  “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The Spirit of Prophecy is, the atmosphere or environment of the prophetic, for in an environment or atmosphere of a prophet, people prophecy.

Severally in the bible, when people came near a prophet, they prophesied. Saul’s messengers who came near Samuel prophesied. Look to 1 Samuel 19:20-21:  “And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied. And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also.”

Saul prophesied when a company of prophets met him in 1 Sam 10:9-10: “And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day. And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.”

Saul also prophesied when he came to Samuel in 1 Samuel 19:24: “And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night.  Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?”

What does it mean that Saul lay down naked prophesying?

It means

In the atmosphere of the prophetic (a prophet)

Even a sinner, a person demon possessed prophesies

Did You Get That?

It is wisdom to see and understand, not everyone who prophesies, is a Prophet

4)     The Gift of Prophecy is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Look to 1 Corinthians 12:8-10:  “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.”

The Gift of Prophecy is a gift of the Holy Spirit and only activated by Him

When the Spirit of Prophecy (The Spirit of Christ) dwells in you, you are baptized with Him and, if you receive the gift of prophecy, you will prophesy.

All gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the service of the church

The gift of prophecy is for:

1) Edifying (build up); 2) Exhortation (stir up); 3) Comfort (cheer up)

Healers, deliverers, pastors, apostles, teachers, intercessors, evangelists, etc., may all have the gift of prophecy in accordance to God’s Will and they prophecy but, they are not all prophets. The gift helps them in their specific ministries in edifying, exhortation and comforting the Church.

5)     The Administrative or Office of The Prophet. A person called by Yahweh God, strictly to be a prophet, takes the office of the prophet. A person in the office of prophet is the one called a prophet People who were in the office of prophet include Moses, Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, Hosea, Jonah, Joel, Jeremiah, etc. Today, we have people in the office of the Prophet, but they are very, very few.

The Office of the Prophet is not limited as is the gift of prophecy. A prophet is not limited by the borders of the church.

A Prophet is Set To

Root Out; Pull Down; Destroy; Throw Down; Build and Plant

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. Jeremiah 1:10.

A person in the Office of Prophet has power, not a gift (of prophecy)

Power comes when the Holy Spirit comes upon

When the anointing is upon (on) not in

In – is to make you a witness for Christ and for His service

A person in the Office of the Prophet has power to kill and resurrect.

He has power to utter judgment to individuals or nations e.g. Moses, Elijah, Elisha, etc. A person in the office of prophet has power over every creature; unbelievers, believers, animals and every created thing. Remember, the gospel is to be preached, to every creature. Mark 16:15

A person in the office of prophet (a prophet) carries the burden of nations & the entire world

This is the person who carries God’s Will to nations and to the world mentioned in Jeremiah 1:10:  I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms.  Notice the gift works in the church, but here the power works over nations and kingdoms.

It is God who creates, calls, anoints and ordains a Prophet

If God has created you to be a prophet, He will come Himself and tell you that you are His prophet

A prophet is not ordained by people, He is called only by God, not by people, neither himself

No true prophet calls himself a prophet

He does not have the title in his name

It is either God who calls him using that title or people, but not himself

There is no person called a prophet. Prophet is a title, not a name. True God servants have no titles; they are fools of the world – God uses the foolish and weak things of the world. Look to 1 Cor 1:27:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Ponder this

There are no mighty, major or minor prophets with God

A Prophet does not just Predict the Future,

He reveals God’s Will through the Prophetic and A “Will,”

Which does not line up with God’s DNA, can be a carrier of witchcraft

Words are containers, which carry spirits

Selah – Let your words be few, but powerful

***************************************************

The Gift Vs The Prophetic Office

The Gift of Prophecy is for the Church

The Prophetic Office is unlimited, nations/world, brings repentance

The Gift of Prophecy is “A Gift”

The Office of the Prophet is “Power”

The Gift cannot kill or resurrect

The Office of the Prophet deals with the church, unbelievers and world destiny

The Gift Carries the Burden of the Church

The Office of the Prophet carries the Burdens of the Church,

Unbelievers, Nations and the Entire World

The Gift is only for edification, exhortation and comfort of the Church.

The Office is

For rooting out,

Pulling down,

Destroying (killing),

Throwing down (humbling),

Building and Planting – Bringing to Life (Resurrect)

**********************************************

Know who you are in the Kingdom, ask Father Yahweh who He created you to be and what He wants to “co-labor” with you to do and then, be faithful to His calling. This is a “NOW” time and He needs everyone, to be ready and “on deck” to do Kingdom work.

Yahweh will move you forward and up the mountain of His Government, when He sees your faithfulness in the small things.  Do not fear or fret, for He is with you and will never leave or forsake you.

Do not worry over titles. Stay faithful, true and be available – for whatever He needs.

In the Name of Yahshua, Prophesy the Heart of Yahweh. His people desperately need to hear from Him.

Blessings upon you and your whole house, in the Mighty Healing Name of Yahshua.
