Intercessor/FS Twitter Account

Miki’s Favorite Scripture:

He gathers lambs in His arms, and He carries them close to His heart. Isaiah 40:11

Miki went to Eugene Bible College and studied Music and Theology. She traveled with ministering groups in ensembles, trios, and quartets at churches and camps. She also started an evangelistic team who witnessed on the streets on weekends. After she married, she served with her husband as youth pastors and worship leaders. Miki taught drama and vocal lessons. Her students placed and won in district, regional, and national church denomination finals. She was also a staff youth pastor. She served in missions in Mexico and Los Angeles, CA after attending YWAM CDTS Crossroads Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii.

Miki also raised three beautiful children and created two residential cleaning businesses. She has worked in management positions in sales, fitness, and retail and has a thorough understanding of the hospitality and service industries. Miki, like everyone, has made mistakes. She extends the goodness of God to everyone and loves Isaiah 40:11 that says: “He gathers lambs in His arms, and He carries them close to His heart.”

She survived being born three months premature in the late 60’s and weighed 2 lbs. and 3 oz. Her grandparents prayed fervently for her life. The Lord began revealing things that were going to happen in her life through many dreams and visions. She was the first and youngest of four siblings to graduate from high school and graduate from college. Her grandmother, with a Doctorate of Divinity, taught at Eugene Bible College and she and her grandfather were pastors. Miki’s parents also served as pastors part of the time while Miki was growing up.

During grade school she gave her heart to the Lord from going to Release Time. It was a ministry in a church next to the school where students were allowed to leave during school hours. She says, “I will never forget the ladies that taught bible stories on a felt board.” It was during high school in a youth group where she began to feel a strong call to ministry. She ministered with a youth group drama and music team that traveled. After graduating high school she was asked to join their volunteer team that served the high schoolers in leading a discipleship group, as well as in all of it’s ministries. Her youth pastors and discipleship group leaders in this church were hugely instrumental in Christ’s development in her heart to become a servant leader.

Miki operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as led, and has a strong love for the Scriptures. She is an intercessor and has passion to empower people in their walk with Christ. She has a personal Twitter account called “The Planted Tree” which reflects a favorite biblical concept in Christ: Psalm 1:3 “He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of his life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.”

Miki lost all of her siblings while they were middle aged and has suffered a lot of loss. She has weathered a lot of persecution and trials, but finds her foundation in God. A favorite verse of hers is Psalm 84:11 TPT “For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all!”

Miki says: “We need to empower one another in the Body of Christ during such perilous times. He is the Light in you that shines in the darkness and all things are possible with God. He uses us for the display of His spender and for the healing of the nations. Firestorm Ministries International is a force in Christ that establishes redemption and reconciliation.”
