Susan Carter

Director – The Gap House of Prayer

Susan has long been a member of Victory Christian’s Worship Team and at the same time works over the Gap House of Prayer traveling World wide. She is quick to pray and bring young and older folks together for prayer and intimate worship sessions.

Former Comptroller at International Diamond Center
Studied Theology at Faith Theological Seminary & Christian College
Went to Benet Hill Academy

Susan came to know the Lord early on but found strength to follow Him when she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at 22 years old. The Lord dramatically changed her life and called her into the ministry of intercession. In 2000 she found a greater prayer passion in the House of Prayer movement.

She left her secular job as a comptroller and served as the Director of the House of Prayer for All Nations in Largo, Florida. Serving there for over five years she then spent a few years helping develop the One Thing Prayer Center in Brandon Florida and developing a teaching ministry, Release the Light, Inc.

Though a God connection Susan began to come to the middle Tennessee area, attending Conferences and volunteering with us. She began to feel the Lord’s call to move to the area to start a House of Prayer.

God opened the door in 2008 and Susan moved to Murfreesboro with a vision to be near Middle Tennessee State University. She, along with other city intercessors, opened the Gap House of Prayer in 2009.

This ministry continues today in the heart of the city across from the Middle Tennessee State University campus. Susan sees the heart of the GAP as prayer, worship, community, and world missions. Knowing that they are called to turn the tide of the spiritual battle from their strategic location she stays steadfast on the wall.

She loves the mountains of Colorado, where she is from, the warmth of Florida, and the mild seasons we have here in Middle Tennessee. She has a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College. She likes to teach, pray, sing and enjoys science fiction.

Eva Windahl
Friday Morning Session

Eva Windahl is one of our Firestorm Leaders. She is from Sweden and was originally schedule to be one of our evening speakers at the conference last year, but the pandemic of Covid kept her from flying into the US. This year we tried again, however due to the Delta Variant, we can’t get her here again, but due to modern technology, we are going to Zoom her in.

There is a 6 hours difference from Sweden and the US so, in order to make it a bit easier on Eva, and make sure she will still be a big part of our conference, she will be speaking via the FS Zoom Video Forum Friday morning. You can also catch Eva on her Wednesday Specials on Facebook entitled: Word of Power – Live Study of Hebrew Word Pictures.

From Eva:

I’m originally from Toronto, Canada. My mother is German and my father Canadian (he passed five years ago). I met my Swedish husband, Roger, while staying in Israel the second time (I lived on kibbutz Alumot, Golan heights, and then kibbutz Nir-Oz, Negev for 2,5 years.) We reside in Varberg, on the west coast of Sweden and have lived here since 1990.

We have four children; our oldest son Daniel is 24 yrs old and has autism. Yoel is 18 yrs old and well you know that he has diabetes type 1 and is recovering from anorexia. He is doing better now and is back in school. We are very thankful for that. Ella Joy is 13 and adopted from China and Emma, our youngest is 10.
Both my husband and I work as teachers, at Secondary/Senior High School level. My husband teaches: Swedish, Psychology and Philosophy and Religious studies and I am teaching English, Spanish, German and Religious studies-but right now only English and Spanish

We were members of the Pentecostal Church of Varberg for 14 yrs until I was called to serve as one of the leaders and preachers at the Pentecostal Church of Falkenberg approx. 90 km south of Gothenburg, five years ago.

In 2017 God called me to start WIN MINISTRIES- winning One by One for Christ (WIN from my last name WINDAHL).

I am very excited and thankful for being part of God´s plan for Sweden and Scandinavia – my passion is to proclaim Yeshua and building God´s Kingdom worldwide.

And I would like to add and conclude that Firestorm Ministries has had a tremendous impact on my life- so grateful for that and without Firestorm I would not be where I am today.

Victory Christian

Apostle/Pastor Ray Frost

In 2012 Ray began serving as an Elder at Victory Christian Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, two years later he accepted the position as staff Pastor, where he continues today to watch over the church functions, bring forth sermons and present valuable teachings to the congregation.

Ray and his wife Jan live on a small farm in Eagleville, Tennessee, where they have lived for over thirty-five years. They enjoy spending a lot of time with their grown children and now, they also love being with their grandchildren. Ray loves to hunt, fish and oh, many of us know the rewards from Jan and Ray’s gardens.

Ray and Jan Frost

Ray grew up on a farm in a small town in Middle Tennessee, where he entered into the gospel music industry, following The Frost Family generations of singing Southern Gospel Music. In 1967 at the age of 12, he began playing drums on the road with the family quartet, at a time, when there were no drummers in Gospel Music.

As the years went by Ray began to venture out playing drums for different styles of music and spending a lot of years on the road. He continued playing drums and traveled over almost all of the United States, Europe, Great Britain and beyond. He soon found himself residing as a regular drummer on the World Famous Grand ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee for many years, working with a lot of top country artists. It was during this season in his life Ray began to passionately pursue The Lord. Little did he realize how this would change the direction of his life and career.

Ray soon left the music business and begin to play drums on worship teams where ever he, his wife and family would attend church. After twenty plus years of playing on worship teams, The Lord called Ray into a different level and area of ministry, which eventually lead him to Victory Christian Center, where he has become extremely passionate about “Growing in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” and who we are “In Christ” as New Covenant believers. Pastor Ray continues to release this same passion, encouraging and discipling others to understand and receive this powerful truth. He is extremely focused on counseling, ministering and teaching the reality of God’s Unconditional Love and how to apply it in our daily lives.

Partly because of Ray’s background in music, Ray “Absolutely” loves Praise and Worship and the life changing manifested Presence of The Lord we experience as we Enter In. He loves helping other musicians grow in their giftings, as it pertains to praise and worship, encouraging them and teaching them the necessity of song dynamics and the importance of Holy Spirit led worship, as it pertains to their instruments.

It is not surprising the book of Psalms has become a favorite of Ray’s, especially considering his background in music. However, it is not just the Psalms Pastor Ray loves, but also the simplicity of The Pure and Simple Gospel of Grace, which reveals so many areas where we can move and grow in the things of The Holy Spirit as He enables us to find practical ways to help us go through the many trials and tribulations in this world.

You will find Pastor Ray quick to help others who come to Victory Christian Center and he seems to be the beneficiary of overstocked “pallets” of food from various stores. He calls and suddenly his truck is outside your house delivering watermelons, strawberries, cantaloupe and more. Pastor Ray is a Pastor, who trully knows how to “feed his sheep.”

One of Ray’s go-to Scriptures has become; Philippians 4:4-8

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
