Contending With Spiritual Warfare

Symbol of Prophecy
The Burning Heart for Yahweh’s Words

Question:

What if you receive a prophetic word and it contains the deepest desires of your heart? Everything you have been studying and searching for in your spiritual walk is revealed and confirmed in an unexpected meeting, by someone you don’t even know and you just know that you know, this is not a coincidence, but a divine appointment from God. Your spirit soars. The excitement and confirmation in your soul is incredible and you begin praying and seeking wisdom to take the necessary steps to co-labor with Yahweh to birth all that has been prophesied.

Suddenly, everything which can go wrong does and you find its all connected to the word. Your plans are going haywire and in the opposite direction of the prophecy. Has this happened to you? If so, you are in a spiritual battle, where a demonic assignment has been released to rob, steal and destroy the word containing your destiny and calling.

How we respond in situations like this is very important. We either recognize where this attack is coming from and take steps
to resist the assignment against us and the Word of the Lord, or we can sit back and throw away everything Yahweh created us to do.

My thoughts are – we fight with the weapons God has given us and stop the enemy from robbing, stealing and destroying what is rightfully ours.

The main scripture I stand upon for myself and Firestorm Ministry is Hosea 4:6. Here are 3 translations used for this Scripture. Each one reveals the thoughts of our God toward us, those who are called to teach us and the consequences, which can come forth, if we are not vigilant and diligent. Just so we all know the difference between vigilant and diligent:

Vigilant is watchful, especially for danger or disorder; alert; wary, while Diligent is performing with intense concentration, focus, responsible regard. Check out these translations of Hosea 4:6.

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. NLT

You priests have rejected me, and my people are destroyed by refusing to obey. Now I’ll reject you and forget your children, because you have forgotten my Law. CEV

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. KJV

It is extremely important for us to study, understand and know as much as possible, about the coming Kingdom of Heaven and our Father Yahweh, so we are able to recognize and stop the wiles of the enemy and fulfill the plans God created us to accomplish. Each one of us is important and relevant to God’s plans for His Kingdom, both here and in the heavenly realm.

So, what does God say about dealing with spiritual warfare? How do we respond, resist and become victorious warriors with Christ?

We use the weapons of warfare available to us through our Spiritual Armor. Are there any other spiritual weapons Yahweh has given us?

I think we have a lot to talk about this coming Friday night, don’t you?

And by the way, this Friday night, we will be focusing on exercising your revelation gifts. No homework, just on the job training.

Blessings, bon
