Becca’s Favorite Scriptures:

2 Timothy 2:15 – Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Psalm 1:1 – 2 – Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.

2 Timothy 2:15 is one of my favorite scripture, although there are many.  My heart’s desire is to always present myself as one who loves others, does nothing that would make Yahweh or others ashamed of me.  I have been a born-again Child of Yahweh almost 47 years and was baptized in the Holy Ghost about 46 years ago.  Like everyone I have certainly made mistakes.  Even though I have not been active all the time, I have been with Firestorm almost from the beginning.   I believe in Firestorm and its mission.   I became Administrative Assistant in 2013 and September 15, 2018 I became Vice-President.   My goal is to do my part to see Firestorm grow, see lives changed, share the good news of the Gospel and prophetically train and equip others in prophecy and prayer.

I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and am the oldest of six children and the only girl. My parents raised us in church and taught us much about the Lord. I had never heard of the Holy Spirit, tongues, prophesy or anything of that sort. When my Mom was pregnant with me, she went to hear Ira Stanphill, who wrote such songs as “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow” and “Suppertime.” That night, he came off the platform and stood in front of my Mom and said, “That little girl you are carrying is going to do great things for the Lord’s kingdom! You have a great responsibility to nurture her and teach her the things of the Lord.” Until that night, only God knew I was a girl!

I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior the night before I turned 18. About a year later there was a lot going on in my life, both good and bad! I cried out to the Lord and said, “I need more of You Lord! There has to be more of You than what I am learning in church.” The next thing I knew there were beautiful sounds like words coming out of my mouth! I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that day  began a quest for more of Him! I wish I could say that my life was great after that but it wasn’t! I made bad choices and experienced much pain! I know that God was with me every step of the way even when I was not letting Him lead. God has done much healing in my life physically and emotionally! Through God’s healing and because of my past experiences, I have more compassion, love and understanding for others than I ever thought possible.  I asked Yahweh to give me His heart and I truly believe He did just that.

In 1998, for many reasons, my parents and I made the decision to move to Alabama. Never imagining that this was where the Lord would divinely intervene and introduce me to my husband Ken. God used a friend from South Carolina and a Christian chat room to orchestrate the church He wanted me to attend and the man He wanted me to marry! Ken and I agreed to meet at his home church on Easter Sunday 1998. The service was amazing! Ken and I had lunch together and then went back to the evening service. During the “invitation” Ken reached over, took my hand and three months later we were married. The rest of our journey continues to unfold every day.

I was ordained by Yahweh and recognized by Firestorm as a minister of Yahweh along with my husband Ken August 24, 2017.

My greatest desire is to live my life pleasing to the Father and help others receive healing, encouragement and training to step into the destiny Yahweh intends for them to live!  I just want everyone to see Yahweh in me.
