5781 Waiting for Yahweh’s Direction

Hello Everyone:

We are rapidly approaching a new Jewish year. Here are some of my thoughts for you to consider.

We left 5779, the year of vision/the seer and moved into 5780, a new decade called Pey, the year of the mouth. We are now only days away from entering into the second year of Pey – Aleph, September 18/19.

Aleph, in Jewish thought, represents the oneness of God. The letter can be seen as being composed of (3) an upper yud, a lower yud, and a vav leaning on a diagonal. The upper yud (or Hand of God reaching down) represents the hidden and ineffable aspects of God while the lower yud (the hand of man reaching up) represents God’s revelation and presence in the world.

Aleph carries the number 1, which in Hebrew means ox. Ox is one of the four faces of Jesus depicted in the book of Ezekiel and reflected in the Gospel of Mark. Ox speaks about our tireless Messiah, whose focus was and is in doing the will of our Father Yahweh.

The Ox represents strength and leadership.

Aleph Symbolism

God reaching down and man reaching up. God is going to be releasing the wisdom and revelation we need for this time. He will teach us what to say and when and quicken us to be silent. Aleph and Ayin are the only 2 letters in Hebrew, which are “silent.”

Scripture Reference: Exodus 4:10-12

And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Yahweh was calling Moses forth as an Aleph to be a strong leader. Moses cursed his mouth, God was rebuking him and says, go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.

I wonder if Moses fulfilled his whole destiny because of this mindset?

If God calls us to a position or place in which we think we are not qualified, in the natural that may well be, but with the God of the Impossible in and with us, it would be wise to stop thinking we can’t do it and just go for it.

Let us be wise and watch what we say and wait on the LORD listening for His Voice and Direction. He is going to give us wisdom and understanding to focus like a laser beam and hit our target dead on. He will teach us and reveal to us what to say, proclaim, declare, prophesy and pray upon. Wait on the LORD…. Resist saying what you think through your human reasoning or intellect and wait for His exact direction.

5781 Waiting, Listening, Learning, Trusting and being Silent BEFORE we speak.

The platforms in our world today allow everyone to speak and release everything and anything through facebook, twitter and various other public market places. STOP releasing unrighteous thoughts.

It is vital to watch what is spoken through our mouth, keyboards and pens. Yahweh will reveal what battle to fight and when to be SILENT. Wait and listen for His correct kairos timing, for He is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. He will be with us and He will never forsake us, so let us trust in Him as never before and step into the role He has set before us, with the faith in Him, to help us complete our task.

Teach us of Your Ways Father, for surely they are higher than ours.
